Biography

His father ʿAbd al-Salām had been an early follower of Shaykh ʿUthmān, but after his death revolted against his son Muḥammad Bello. Muḥammad al-Bukhārī tried unsuccessfully to mediate in the dispute. He was later allowed to settle at Jega.
