Cresconius (fl. 410 CE) was a layman who belonged to the Donatist Church; his name is fairly widespread in Roman Africa, even though it is hard to exactly pinpoint the area in which he lived (Afer in Africa; Aug. Cresc. 4.66.83; also 3.25.28; 4.43.51). He taught children grammar (Grammaticus; Cresc. 2.6.8; 2.8.10) and was active during the first years of the 5th century CE.
