Al-Mufaḍḍal b. Abī l-Faḍāʾil (d. after 759/1358) was a Coptic historian in the Baḥrī-Mamlūk period (648–792/1250–1390). The date of his birth is unknown, and almost nothing is known about his life or career. He is the author of the historical work al-Nahj al-sadīd wa-l-durr al-farīd fīmā baʿd taʾrīkh ibn al-ʿAmīd (“The correct procedure and singular pearl in what comes after the History of Ibn al-ʿAmīd”).
