15th-19th century. Central Italy. The manuscript, titled by a later scribe Liber reformationis vel memorialis presentis monasterii Sancte Marie Montis Lucidi extra menia Perusina, chronicles events connected to the Monastery of Santa Maria di Monteluce in Perugia from 1448 to 1838. The chronicle is written in Italian, although Latin words appear quite frequently in the text. The book was most likely intended for administrative purposes, although it was converted to a memoriale (as the chroniclers themselves call it) in 1488.
