The media is arguably one of the most “women-friendly” sectors in Turkey. Women journalists in Turkey have continually increased in number, venues of publication, and fields of specialization, ranging between print media and broadcast journalism. But obstacles remain, as the “glass ceiling” in media management leaves women unequally represented.
