[1154c] On Sunday, the third of Jumadi al-Ukhra/14 July 1907, His Majesty lavished his favor on Jamal al-Din Khan, son of Qajar Khan Barakza⁠ʾi, a resident of Isfizar, who had served as guide for the royal banners from the manzil of Darwaji [1155] to Herat. He ennobled and exalted him with a valuable khilʿat and the rank of “ten horsemen.”
