¶ [1281] In the first days of this month, Shayrdil Khan, the governor of Chakhansur, by petition asked permission to go to Great Mecca and perform the rituals of the hajj-pilgrimage. Permission was granted and in the middle of Ramazan/the first week of August 1911, his brother, Ghulam Haydar Khan, was appointed acting governor in his place and he himself set off for the House of God by way of Sind and the Arabian Sea (Bahr-i Hind). /3:462/
