[1381c] When His Majesty had recovered from the attack of gout, he decided to leave Jalalabad, as was briefly referred to above, for Kabul. On the seventeenth of Rajab/9 May 1917 he sent out numerous proclamations to all the provinces informing them of his return to health and on the nineteenth/11 May he left for Kabul by car.
