[1283c] In this month General ʿAbd al-Rahim Khan, a member of the noble clan of the Muhammadza⁠ʾi, was assigned to be stationed in Herat because of the already-mentioned death of Brigadier ʿAbd al-Ahad Khan. Setting out from Kabul, on the twenty-fifth of Ramazan/19 September he arrived in Bad-i Asyab of Hazarah Bihsud [1284] and so informed the Court.
